Last night was AMAZING!! I got to participate in the celebration of my friend's Steffini's 7th year in business at The Purple Corkscrew Wine Shop & Tasting Room. If you are an entreprenuer then you know how HUGE of an accomplishment this is! We work everyday to not only build a brand we can be proud of, but also one that makes MONEY!!!

The evening was filled with great people, gourmet fries, lots of champagne, live music and great conversation! I had a really good time and with so many highlights, I don't know where to start!

What's a party without some food! Once again Tiff's Take Out wowed us with her creative selections. Last night we enjoyed gourmet french fries! We hadfour flavors to sample. Salt & Pepper with garlic mayo aioli & Sriracha ketchup dipping sauces, cheddar and bacon, parmesan truffle, and my favorite buffalo blue cheese! I might have gone back a couple of time for those buffalo blue cheese....shhhhhh!

Of course after all those fries we needed somthing to wash it all down with, and since this was a celebration...CHAMPAGNE was the BEST choice, and we were drinking the GOOD stuff. A tasting of Moet and Chandon! A-mazing!

As if that wasn't enough, Steffani had special guests in attendance to provide live music just for us! A trio of violinists from Orchestra Noir who would sarenade us for the evening with everything from classic renditions of Al Green and the Temptations to Beyonce and so much in between. We even heard an impromptu selection from Orchestra Noir's conductor, Maestro Jason Ikeem Rogers! What a treat!! I am looking forward to experiencing more of Atlanta's African-American Orchestra throught the city!

Another selfish highlight of my evening was presenting one of my first time clients with her custom bag! She order a custom red and black ombre Leo with the added touch of a custom lining. She LOVED it!!!! Her reaction to her bag will have me on a high for a quite some time!!! Of course I had to record it!

And finally, I got to connect with my new favorite author, Kenn Bivins! I had the opportunity to read his 2nd book, The Wedding & Deaster of Felona Mabel, which had me anxious to read his first, Pious! I felt extremely special to know that he had already planned for my anticipation and brought me a copy! I can't wait to dive in!
I know this night was for my friend, but I couldn't help but feel like the special one! To be among so many talented people who equally respected each other's craft and business made me feel all the more special. We were all celebrated this night!
